Our mission is to prepare students to be socially responsible citizens so they are better able to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively communicate and make informed decisions enabling them to all reach their full potential.
Laughlin High School has established a tradition of graduating students who are prepared to enter the workforce, military or continue their education. A diverse selection of courses for students includes AP and honors studies, art, band, business management, CrossFit and culinary arts. After-school opportunities include baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross-country, football, track and field, softball, volleyball and wrestling. Community partnerships allow us to offer extension programs such as 4H, DECA, Honor Society, Interact, Student Council and Science Club.
Over the past three years, our school community has embraced a shared K-12 vision; we now have two school campuses overseen by one principal. This change has increased opportunities for teachers to collaborate at every grade level, kindergarten through 12th grade, focusing on the success of all students at every grade level.
We are proud to celebrate our graduation rate of 100 percent for the Class of 2017. We contribute this to the combined efforts of motivated students and hard work of dedicated teachers all working together for the success of all students, from entry to exit!
