Veterans Tribute Career and Technical Academy’s goal to prepare students to be college and career ready is in direct support of its mission and vision, by creating a rigorous learning environment through AP and Honors coursework, and by promoting respect and responsibility through public safety programs.
VTCTA increased AP course offerings from five to 13 AP courses and offers the Big History Project, which is a pre-AP course taught at the freshman level that integrates world history, science, STEM and English language arts.
Career readiness is supported by partnerships with local, state and federal law enforcement, fire and medical professionals. Preparing students to be career-ready is promoted by the daily interactions with these committed public service professionals who provide students insight into their respective career fields.
